Why our dumbwaiters range
Dumbwaiters solve the problem nobody budgets for: moving trays, files, linen and stock between floors without tying up staff or a passenger lift.
Ours install into a masonry recess or a bolted steel frame, need no pit in most cases, and run off a standard single-phase socket.

Can a dumbwaiter carry people?
No. Dumbwaiters are goods-only by design and are interlocked to prevent rider use — a service lift or passenger elevator is the correct product where people must travel.
How much civil work is involved?
Usually very little. A 700 mm × 700 mm recess with landing openings at counter height, plus a 230V point at the top landing, is enough for a typical 100 kg unit.
